Rachael began her career in public service as a certified EMT and firefighter while still in high school. She brings many years of experience in crisis response, customer service, and team management.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Law and Public Policy, summa cum laude, from Liberty University. As an integral member of the firm, Rachael supports fiduciary matters with a strong commitment to client care and organizational excellence.

Outside of work, Rachael enjoys spending time outdoors with her son Isaac.

I had a family member pass away and I was really distraught I really had no clue what to do and I worked with Emily and she really made the process seamless and she helped me and my family navigate how to go about the probate court. I was honestly clueless and having this firm for support really helped the process move smoothly. Moving forward I highly recommend this firm specifically Emily. Thank you so much. She made the process not so overwhelming

I’m not going to get into details here. I’ll just leave you with one thing. Would I ever go back and use this firm for other family matters? No, I would not. I didn’t have the confidence in them. That said, trust your gut.

Where to start! This law firm is FANTASTIC! The person I worked with was Emily Wanchisn, a wonderful person and paralegal. She helped me interpret the legal documents that were signed by my parents, explained what my responsibilities and limitations were, and did it all with a kindness and compassion you don't find very often in the world these days. I stumbled on Legacy Elder Law at a critical moment in my mom’s health care journey when I believed I had run out of options. The team at this firm quickly engaged and presented options for helping my mom qualify for Medicaid. Specifically, Odalis took the time to meet with me and explain the process in detail, particularly when I was feeling overwhelmed. She treated me and my family’s situation with kindness, respect and professionalism. Unfortunately, my mom passed before we could complete the process, but Odalis and the LELC team took the time to offer sincere condolences for my loss.
